The Kern Valley Exchange Club was chartered on December 12th, 1973 in Lake Isabella, California.
The Kern Valley Exchange Club is part of the National Exchange Club, an organization comprised of over 1,000 clubs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. As America’s Premier Service Club, Exchange strives to promote three core values: Family, Community and Country and is committed to one national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse. Kern Valley Exchange Club is one of the strongest clubs in the California-Nevada Exchange Club District. With 70 members strong, we raise thousands of dollars each year for scholarships, youth oriented programs and community service related programs through a variety of fundraisers including our annual Rubber Duck Races. Exchange meets every Thursday at Noon at Paradise Cove Lodge in Lake Isabella, Calif. If a Thursday falls on a national holiday, the club meetings are usually dark.
